Job Search 101: Finding a Job Near You!

You have prepared a winning resume, pep-talked yourself to boost confidence, and you're ready to become an employee. Now comes the job search. The most common way for people start their search is by scanning the job boards or newspaper classifieds. It is quite easy to look for one, if you know what to look for. We all have an idea of our idea job in mind, like a call center job, but the job searchdoes not end there. When I go through job ads, I usually have top three things to consider: the location, the compensation and benefits, and the company and its culture. Not all companies advertise their compensation package and culture, but it is nice to know I have the privilege of starting my search with what's closest to my home.
