In today’s globalized economy, speaking a second language is no longer a luxury. It is a marketable skill. It has become the key to open windows for better job opportunities and overall well being.
TeleTech’s Greeley facility celebrated its one-year anniversary on February 12, 2013. The festivities kicked off with opening remarks by Trevor Forrester, service delivery director/program director, followed by a site tour for visiting executives: Mark Grindeland, chief marketing officer; Mike Jossi, executive vice president, Human Capital; Daryl Prater, senior vice president, Operations; and Arthur Nowak, vice president, Operations. To date, the Philippines has emerged to be a global leader in business process outsourcing (BPO). Contrary to what most people think, not all BPOs are located in Manila – Cebu is now one of the hottest spots in developing and growing exceptional talent for the BPO industry. In such place, you can find one of TeleTech’s Delivery Centers in the country.
I've been called by others an 'expert in'... online recruitment, digital advertising, social media... and more... but I do not believe that there is such a thing as a fully developed 'expert.' In today's ever-evolving digital world, there are only those that happen to have been exposed to more than others in that particular field. We build knowledge, wisdom, experience through life-long learning. I prefer to call myself a 'perpetual student.' As it implies, I believe I am only as good as my knowledge and skills are today. Things might change tomorrow... or maybe even better... things WILL change tomorrow. It's not that I feel that I have to keep up with the Joneses. Learning is just a way of life for me. I am inquisitive. I like learning new things. I like exploring new technologies. I believe that if you are the one to see a problem, rather than complain about it, you should be a part of the solution. I know that everyone and every experience I encounter has something to teach me.
Tim is a true TeleTech success story. Knowing Tim had been with TeleTech for more than 15 years and had built a career from the ground up, I decided to learn more. In my research, the first thing I ran across was his profile on a popular professional networking site, which I believe says a lot all in itself about Tim. His heading simply reads, “Business Leader and Dad.”
