The long awaited holiday season is upon us and I know for sure a lot of people are excited to spend their time with family and friends. During the holidays, there are festivities and events, delicious food and drink, and all types of fun and merriment. Unfortunately, all of this extra excitement and extra calories causes many to gain weight.
Apart from the stress and pressure we all get in our daily tasks, we all have to deal with muscle strain from having to sit for too long. At the end of the day, we can't help but complain why certain parts of our bodies ache even if we've just been sitting on our desks while working. Certain muscles that are idle and bad posture are the culprits most of the time. To avoid further damage in the long run (carpal tunnel syndrome, anyone?), here are some exercises that I do to help you keep yourself "fit" while in your office desk. I even gave some of them silly names for easier recall.
